Thank you so much for stopping by today, I am so happy to meet you and your blog is beautiful!! When you asked about special treasures the first thing that came into my mind was an orniment that started life as a package tie on when I was still in the single digit ages. It was a mouse and she had on a red skirt and skates, one year we had a new puppy that took her off the tree and nibbled on her, mom was going to throw her away but I told her no, just becuase she isn't beautiful anymore dosen't mean I love her any less. I still have her 40+ years later and put her out every year. Just like the folks in my life, some are looking a little worse for the wear but they bring smiles and memories when ever I see them. Have a wonderful weekend! :)

It looks like you've got lots of pretty treasures to decorate you home Wendy. My most treasured is a glass santa ornament I bought for my Grandmother as a Christmas gift from me. Sadly my Grandmother is no longer with us, I look at it fondly each year and remember her, it's the first decoration I put on every year. xx
