It’s time to make some very hard but necessary decisions, in three weeks I’m renovating my bathroom everything will need to be removed even the floor.
For the past month I have been to every tile and bathroom centre on the coast visited three bathroom specialist in Brisbane brought twenty yes twenty magazines on bathrooms and still I can’t decide!!!! On Friday I have a meeting with our builder who would like to know what I have decided, such as layout for the shower bath and vanity. Woops need I say I must have some answers for this poor man.
I know I want a freestanding bath however where to place it? I’m waiting for a quote on a custom made vanity (depending on quote) colour for tiles is a tossup between blue/gray or black & white or just white.Bits and pieces of my new bathroom
So you see I’m in a panic and need your help!! On all things bathrooms tips advice past experiences you may have encountered.

I couldn't find anything near appropriate for a vanity, so we took two old dressers had had sinks placed in them. i love the way they look. . . and we found beautiful italian floor tiles in boxes in the shed of the place we are renting. the owner said we could have them. score!
There's heaps of inspiration on pinterest. there's a link to my pinterest page and bathroom pictures on my blog if you want to see the images i've collected from around the web.

Oh now i'm scared, we're planning a house with 3 bathrooms & i know it's going to be a big task. My tact might be to not over research the options?? New to your blog, lovely to visit you, love Posie
The best advice I can give you is...get people who are qualified in bathroom renovations...make sure they have a “wet seal” certificate...
Otherwise in five years time you are going to be doing it all over again...
Five years ago I talked my parents (begged that is) into having a purple and yellow bathroom..You see it was my bathroom and I wanted to impress all of my friends. Eight years on I am married with two children. Every time they have a stay over at my parents there comment is always”.Yuk we don’t like there coloured bathroom”...I dare not admit to them, it was me who chose those colours. So you see Wendy choose your colours carefully.
Hi Wendy
We did a new bathroom 2 years ago they said it would take 1 week, 4 weeks later! Make sure you get everything in writing and if they take longer have some recall to receive a discount, good luck with it all.
Blessings Sue
You poor thing I wouldn’t know where to start. I love what you’ve chosen so far I have always wanted a freestanding bath. Hope your decisions get easier.

I was at my husband’s parents farm...I noticed that the cows were drinking out of an old bath that was at the side of the paddock. At a closer look I noticed that the bath was cast iron. It had the most beautiful legs attached to it that I have ever seen. I fell in love with it. The bath that is not the cows..
Three years on and that same bath is free standing in my renovated bathroom. Oh, and I forgot to tell you Wendy. It had lots of work done to it and I had it enamelled pink.
Oooo what an exciting dilemma to have Wendy :o) New kitchens and bathrooms have to be among the most enjoyable renovations to my way of thinking. My bathroom requires a total overhaul, but it will be sometime before it happens. I have always envisaged my dream bathroom to be bright, light and airy. I think black and white would look superb. Though blue/grey is probably more what I'd go for... and do a black and white kitchen instead! ;o) Good luck with the decisions and I can't wait to see more of it as the reno's unfold xo
