I have been so busy these past few days in the most wonderful way!
Friday was an exceptional day every year my grandchildren’s school celebrates Grandparents Day I practically love this day. It gives the children an opportunity to share with us all the work they have achieved throughout the year. We have morning tea with other grandparents and teachers afterwards (the scones are to die for). I believe the children also display a sense of pride in introducing us to their teachers and friends, I just love the feeling that they want everyone to know who we are, it’s really a magical day spent with all three little ones!Saturday was just as special, the LOML and I have been trying it organize a lunch together for weeks now and finally it happened. We decided to take a trip up to Montville a little town we both adore visiting. We normally have lunch at one of the charming little cafes and on the way home stop at the beautiful lookout, the view is so serene it’s like you’re on top of the world. This time we decided to take a picnic and have lunch there, it was perfect we had it all to ourselves soaking up the sun good food and time together.
Sunday morning waking hearing the rain on our tin roof is always a lovely sound knowing you can just roll over and cuddle the one you love for as long as your heart desires is a beautiful start to any day!
How did you spend your weekend hope you share some of it here with me.

I am to become a grandmother in a few months time...Have kept it very quiet amongst my friends..You see being in my early forties, I thought it would make me look and feel old. That is, until I stumbled upon your blog “Love in Wendy’s World.” Loved reading about your Grandparents day. Three little precious ones all wanting you to meet their teacher and friends. That is absolutely awesome. Now I want to be a granny and I am not going to keep it a secret any longer. I am going to text all my friends and tell them how excited I am.
Thanks for “Love in Wendy’s World”.
Hi Wen..My weekend was just as Romantic as yours...Well...it depends on how you define the word Romantic... No picnic baskets involved...Ha
Hubby and I spent Sunday in the Garden.....We started out trimming a few bushes that had gone ballistic.. and.. ended up using a chain saw ...then..calling my son who has a winch attached to his four wheel drive to pull them out..roots and all...I had to go to work on Monday explaining why all the scratches on my arms and legs...Now that’s what I call romance... Don’t ask...cause I am still explaining.....Love you..
Hi Wendy
We spent our weekend at my inlaws for Davids brothers 60th birthday it was a great party except for the 4 hour drive there and back. We are planning a weekend away together in September looking forward to it.
Blessings Sue
Sounds like a dreamy few days Wendy :)
Our weekend was rather relaxed this weekend..my hubby was in Brisbane so the kids and I just hung out together which is always loads of fun.

Oh Wendy, this post just makes me feel happy. All of those things sound so wonderful and you're such a lovely soul for celebrating all the good things here, in this space, where others can benefit from the joy too. It's so nice to read about the positive aspects in people's lives :o) xo
