Mondays Memories

My week has been full of sweet memories my friends and a little laughter along the way. My daughter is turning the Big “30” in 9 days so I have been reminiscing over many photos, old preschool painting and little notes and special poems she had given me over the years. I must confess some tears did fall.....though only through how much she has engraved my heart with love.

I decided a month ago to make her a little book of some of those memories we have shared together with some special clippings I have written about her in my many years of journaling. There are photos of our most precious moments together...... such as been her birthing partner for all her children along with her hubby and of course her own treasured entry into my world. I have only a few pages left to finish and hope to share a little with you before her special day arrives!

Saturday I spend some long overdue time in the garden (with no snakes thank heavens).... The weather on the coast has been just lovely these past few days warming up our spring days. My natives especially the bottle bushers are full of colour and the lovely kangaroo paws look wonderful.
Sundays as you know my favourite day of all days was just as lovely as ever, though I didn’t do all that much really, the LOML helped out a friend with his pool problems, and I just lazed around on the veranda reading and catching up on some overdue journal writing and photo editing and enjoyed every minute!

I hope you all had lovely weekends my friends and share it here with me!

I love this Wendy. Since becoming a mum what seems like many years ago now I have journalled all the milestones etc and kept all the little keepsakes in the hopes to one day gift back a book to our children of their lives and all the memories we share :)

I love the title of the post! I'm sure your girl will enjoy your work: that's what we are hoping to get from mothers: love, memories and support!!! Little memento that we are all someone's princesses no matter the age we are turning!

love, i.
